Pinnacle PSG builds on success story in Westminster

Westminster City Council has awarded Pinnacle PSG a new housing management contract.  Pinnacle will provide the full range of housing management and estate services to around 10,000 homes in the north and west areas of the London Borough of Westminster and the remaining half will be directly managed by CityWest Homes.

CityWest Homes will maintain overall responsibility for managing the 22,000 properties on behalf of Westminster Council, including Pinnacle's contract to deliver housing management and estate services.

The contract award follows a major reorganisation of Westminster City Council's housing services and a competitive tender process.  It commences on 6 June 2011, will run for five years and is worth around £4.5million per annum to Pinnacle PSG.

The council's housing stock was divided into 18 geographic areas known as 'villages', each with a small, dedicated management team. These villages will be retained, but are now packaged into four management areas with Pinnacle PSG managing two and CityWest Homes managing the other two directly.  Pinnacle PSG will be responsible for housing management, estate cleaning and grounds maintenance.

The areas each contain around 5,000 properties, but vary in nature reflecting their different profiles and priorities. Within each area, village identity will be retained and performance will be monitored at both village and area level.

Pinnacle PSG has worked with the council and CityWest Homes for 16 years, most recently delivering housing management and estate services in two village areas - Churchill Gardens (Pimlico) and Bayswater.

"Following a full market competition we are pleased to be able to build on our relationship with CWH, the City of Westminster and local residents over the next 5 years"

"A key requirement of the contract was to ensure residents had a real choice and were included in the design, monitoring, management and improvement of the services they received", said Neil Euesden, Managing Director, Pinnacle PSG.

"We believe the quality performance and high resident satisfaction we have delivered over the years showed we were able to provide transparent, high quality value for money services to agreed budgets, whilst treating people with respect, dignity and promoting social cohesion", added Neil.

"We were very keen for the successful partner to show they could provide a high quality and flexible housing management service" said Darren Levy, Director of Customer Services, CityWest Homes.

"Pinnacle PSG ticked all the boxes and showed they were entrepreneurial in their approach to working with statutory and voluntary agencies to provide solutions for individuals and groups of residents, improving opportunities for individuals and communities", added Darren.
